Welcome to QuikCom Version 4. This program is designed to ease communications when using Geodimeter and Trimble surveying equipment with mainly Surpac type string files. It is more intuitive with easy point & shoot buttons and dialogue boxes. There are many file types available for uploading, and we can add new ones for a small fee. You are asked to register this software so that we can send you upgrades and updated help files as they become available.
The Trimble selection is for communications with the Trimble TSC1 using Surpac string files. This method of communication is fairly basic and is for the uploading or downloading of coordinates only. Please use Trimble Geomatics Office for comminicating detail files like site calibrations. It is also a one-way communication in that the receiving end has to be ready to receive before transmitting from the sending end. The advantage of this means of communications is that Surpac string files can be uploaded directly, and all downloaded data will be downloaded directly into a Surpac string file.
