This antenna is a rugged, high performance ground independent antenna that is specifically designed for either mobile or base station applications. It offers a 6.5dbi gain. The copper tube and cable radiating element is housed inside a Fibreglass radome. It is particularly suited in fringe areas and country areas where signal strength is weak. Note that the cable lengths are tuned for each antenna. We recommend using as short an antenna cable as possible. The 25 metre cable used typically in a base radio situation where a long cable is necessary. We use the 5 metre cable for most applications.
